I believe internships should be paid, but I'm operating on a tiny budget. As a mostly solo dev, internships could also take a lot out of my schedule, but isn't something I'm completely against. But for the reason that I can't pay, I don't do them. I understand both perspectives though!
I can do it! I used to do copywriting for Meta and Yahoo (at Yahoo, I specifically did copywriting for games).
