I'm trying to tell myself that at least she didn't have to go through prolonged suffering, but it's not much comfort.
Last week, after a normal day of frolicking, napping, and enjoying snacks, Spooky the greyhound suddenly collapsed.
She never got up again.
Official cause of death was cardiac tamponade, probably as a result of hemangiosarcoma.
I miss her more than I could have imagined.
