A trick I was starting into the middle distance to make it seems like I was looking at something. There was I think a snowed over tennis court far behind the camera

A nearby stick was the stand in and the focal length was increased to leave more of the photo in focus. Faux fur lined coat was more for show.

I like it having ward as well as the equipped creature. Different costs for each. Simpler cost for the creature harder for the equipment

Would modular do or doesn’t need to be an inanimate artifact that makes a germ or x token to pick up the equipment?

Maybe an X cost to case that makes you affect the card’s ability? a scaling level or more power. Gives it a pay off for casting later
