every week at the free store, we have a list of a few “special requests” - items that people need but which are outside of our ordinary stock. for the holidays, we decided to do something special. last week, we asked every person in line to make a request for something they wanted or needed (1/3)

Keene Mutual Aid needs FOOD! Nonperishable items - cans (preferably pop top), soup, cereal, poptarts, tuna, nut butter, protein/granola bars, ramen - FOOD! We had 45 people through the free store this week 🥳 but it meant that for the first time in ages, we didn’t have enough to feed everyone.

Something that helps out small charities a lot is recurring donations set up via paypal—$5 a month that always comes in is way more valuable than the $60 you may or may not remember to donate on Giving Tuesday. It doesn’t have to be a lot! Don’t feel bad if you can only afford $1 or $2 a month
