I've been following @syntaxpod.bsky.social since the very beginning and have loved every second of it and it's amazing that I get to announce that I'm part of it now!!!
Right after I'll start working on season 3 so you can expect it to start in summer or autumn.
I'd hoped I would find time to create some bonus episodes between seasons but with all the editing, building a house, & con prep, I think I might just implode from stress if I add more work to my schedule
I don't know if this was a smart move but it's what my heart wanted, even if my wallet is crying lmao
But now that I'm mostly done with the translation release, I'll focus my energy towards turning season 2 into a book, which should hopefully be out by March or April next year.
I'm sorry I've been radio silent for quite a while now, so here's a bit of an update on what I've been working on.
As you may know, when season 1 finished, I released it as a book. That book has now been translated to German (it's called Ein glühender Glaube, for anyone curious).
There are no concrete plans for when season 3 releases yet as I wanted to change a few things about how the show releases. I will first focus my energy on editing the season into a book as I did with season 1, which should be out by the end of the year.

This was definitely the most difficult episode I had to edit yet, with the time I needed for the sound design doubling what I usually need 😬 There is just a lot happening in this episode and so much chaos. I really hope you all will like it 😔

all that to say the next episode is finally recorded and just needs to be edited. I'm hoping it'll be done by the end of the weekend but I've also got 2 birthday parties this weekend so we'll see how it goes
Spent over an hour crafting a tiny sentences in a fictional language for a chant in the next episode even though it'll barely be heard cause in universe it's too far away but I just needed the syntax and morphology to be correct and playing around with inflected languages is just too much fun
