The perks of growing older 😁😁

Good luck with the non-fiction. There’s some excellent non-fiction books out there.
Honestly I spent years struggling to get through my reading pile, and then last year my reading hyperfixation came back big time.

I’ve also been reading Pandora Hearts, I’m really enjoying this manga.
It’s quite different from the anime, but both are good in their own way.
Only 4 more volumes left to read.

The magic is amazing. And the characters are so well written.

Daughter of the Moon Goddess is the first book in the Celestial Kingdom duology. It is a retelling of a mid-Autumn legend. There is adventure, there is emotion, and magic!

Excellent, the story telling is too notch, and the characters are brilliantly fleshed out. Plus there are Gods.

Children of Anguish and Anarchy is the final book in the Legacy of Orïsha trilogy. It is an absolute whirlwind. The story telling is fantastic, there is so much emotion and tension..

It’s always silly things, that are also surprisingly painful.

The downside to sewing… ironing.

I dislike ironing, it’s tedious, but I like my fabric to be crease free before I even think about cutting it out.

Another downside is the inevitable having to iron the things you have made so they don’t look crumpled 🫠

Then I remember it’s my idea to do sewing 😅😅

It’s not my fault…

A couple may need homes as they start growing 🪴.

They are taking over 😅.

Plus when I first got OG snake plant she was had a pup growing. I gave that one to my mum last year. I’m not sure she’ll want any more 😅😅.

I had to sort my larger birds nest snake plant this morning, last summer she had two pups, and started sprouting four more in the autumn.

I left them to get bigger and waited for spring because winter isn’t a good time to be potting up new plants.

So now I have seven snake plants.. whoops.

Absolutely!! It’s so frustrating!!

Well that is ridiculous!!

Because surely if their salaries are increased the funding they are given is increased.

And then of course other bits suffer because the budget isn’t there.
