We also seemed more willing to attack the goal directly. Previously our main idea was get the ball to the wings and cross it in. We seemed to have more chances today entering the final third and the 18 directly. #allforCITY

I haven't dug into the stats yet, but based on the eye test, two observations: CITY looked a lot more confident moving the ball through the midfield than the last couple seasons.
It may be too little too late (although still mathematically in it), but it's good to see the team playing with fight and playing entertaining soccer against teams above them in the standings. Now let's try to get our first win against LAFC next week.
#allforcity
-A great team win. We played like we wanted to win despite the standings.
-Brendan McSorley. Nothing more to add.
-Roman Burki. Also nothing to add.
-Our tenth road win as a team
-Back to back road wins
-No late goals conceded
-Offically above kansas in the standings
For those keeping track, that was our first road win since September 23, 2023 (!) that was 1. outside the state of California, and 2. against a team not holding the wooden spoon (barely in this case, but it still counts). Also our 9th away win ever in regular season play. #AllForCITY
Congratulations to Fotis Bazakos, Kevin Terry Jr., and Thomas
MΓΌller for their first career Vancouver Whitecap's goal contributions. #AllforCITY
What really makes me mad is it's the same result we've seen, A road loss, but we didn't look like we have all year. We actually played well. We kept fighting even after losing a lead and stayed in the game on the road against a good opponent. We at the least should have picked up a point #AllforCITY
Also it made me so angry every time they described Vancouver as getting lucky. That's not luck.
If the Apple TV commentators called the first penalty soft, what was the second? #allforcity
What Papal betting markets missed is the Pope should be passionate about the least of these and the downtrodden So of course he's a White Sox fan. And as a white Sox fan united against the Cubs, he obviously had the full support of the Cardinals.
Now we're just chasing that elusive road win outside of California. #allforcity
The only thing U17 about this game is their ages. I don't understand why you keep Adams in this long.
Meanwhile descriptive linguistics is learning about language by taking sentences, words and meaning and finding patterns, analysing that data until you can describe the semantic, pragmatic, and grammatical rules that govern that particular language.
Ultimately it is a translation issue because the answer to the question can only be accessed in the language of data.
When faced with a business problem, data analysis involved translating that human language problem into its core meaning and then into numbers and patterns. You then converse with the raw data until you find your response. Then, critically, you translate back to human language with your findings.
Data analysis is linguistics and linguistics is data analysis.
Never Xed (?) much on that other app, more of a lurker. But lurking was getting really not enjoyable the last couple years. Maybe I'll post more here. Lately I've been really diving into the football scene. Trying to find an EPL club to support as well this off season.
