Beyblade Burst (Season 1)
Burst S1 takes Beyblade back to basics and the result is just a couple kids hanging out and having fun. No crazy save the world plot or supernatural powers. It's just the simple joy of beyblading, and it really captures the heart of the game better than any other series.
Mr. Mercedes (Season 3)
Show ends on a very high note. I love the fall out from season 2. The hunt for an author's lost manuscripts is just dripping with King-isms. I didn't think they could have a strong enough villain to top Brady. They don't, but they give it a damn good try. Great series.
Mr. Mercedes (Season 2)
Good season of TV. The guy who plays Brady continues to be amazing. The scenes of Brady's "inner world" were phenomenal. Very weird that the mind control plot is dropped halfway through the season, but it all works out in the end. A lot of interesting moral questions here.
Mr. Mercedes (Season 1)
Mr. Mercedes is one of my favorite King novels. This adaptation was handled really well. The guy who plays Brady really acted his ass off with all the weird little eccentricities. Brady's portrayal kind of reminded me of Elliot from Mr. Robot.
A Man On The Inside (Season 2)
Another season of this extremely warm and nice show. The show never fails to put me in a great mood. This time we are undercover at a college and dealing with shithead billionaires ruining everything. Looking forward to a season 3.
The Elusive Samurai by Yusei Matsui
I really disliked the first chapter of Elusive, but the series really won me over with it's sheer goofiness and strangeness. I don't know the history or if it's even accurate, but the ending is absolutely great and stays true to the characters. Fantastic work.
Only Murders in the Building (Season 5)
Another pretty good season of Only Murders. They got me with the murderer this season, and I was pretty shocked at the reveal. I don't know what more I want this show to do, but it does create a pretty good season long slow burn mystery.
Mob Psycho (Season 3)
Finished Mob in Spanish because the Japanese was getting too hard for me π
. The whole show really builds to the final frame of Mob laughing and able to express himself. Hell, the last 3 episodes are a fun payoff for three great seasons. Mob is one of the best to ever do it.
The Fall-Off by J. Cole
J. Cole's "final" album. Arguably the J.Cole-iest of albums. I liked it, but it's not without fault. Some really good songs on here. I really love the hip-hop throwbacks and how they are weaved back into his art. If this is the final album I think he went out on a high note.
Nathan for You
The show that put Nathan Fielder on the map. It is great! I don't know how he kept getting businesses to use his crazy ass ideas, but it's very entertaining. Fielder had several viral moments because of the hijinks in this show and without the context you'd never know.
The Rehearsal (Season 1 & 2)
I've seen clips of Nathan Fielder's comedy for years, and finally decided to take the plunge. The first season is insane, hilarious, oddly sweet, and a bit disturbing. The second season is less funny, yet really interesting and oddly informative about air safety.

The Outsider (miniseries)
A great short series with a solid story and mystery. They give just enough information on El Cuco to leave you with more questions about it. I heard that Alan Wake 2 took inspiration from this adaptation. I see it strongest in Erivo's Holly Gibney and Saga Anderson.
C looks like the easiest to follow
moon: Remix RPG Adventure
moon is an interesting game. I LOVE all the weird moments. Waiting as a video game mechanic is neat. It feeds into the core idea in a silly, yet sadistic way. Unsure how I feel on the ending. I both love it AND find it completely unsatisfying (which is kind of the point).

Spy X Family (Season 3)
Another season of Spy X Family. Still a darn good adaptation. I liked this section of the story with Loid's backstory, the bus hijacking, and the spy defector. I do wish the plot would progress a bit more. My wife wanted more Anya and was sad at the minimal screen time.
Party Down
A great show about feeling stuck at your current spot in life. I love that every party catered just devolves into craziness by the end. I hope season 3 is the end because it really feels like a tight conclusion. I also love the guests stars, cause I did the DiCaprio point every episode.
Don't Be Dumb by A$AP Rocky
A$AP Rocky wasn't MY rapper in the 2010s, so I didn't really listen to him like that. This project makes me feel like I slept on him. The second half of this album feels real fresh and cool. I don't know if his other music sounds like this, but maybe I should go back.
Harukaze Mound by Togo Goto & Kento Matsuura
Another year, another premature end to a sports manga in Jump. Mound debuted among other sports titles Ping Pong Peril and Ekiden Bros. I LOVED Peril, but I thought Mound had staying power. Jump is a cutthroat as ever. Looking forward to the next one.

IDK is always a blast to listen to when he drops these yearly projects. I think he continues to get better and better with each release which is remarkable. There is a lot of "fuck the cops" type songs on this and I love it.

Haven
Haven is almost the perfect show. It does cool things with it's monster of the week format. I love a weird town and people with powers. I also really like how most weird powers are talk no jutsu'd with compassion and understanding. I just wish I liked the leads more. Duke is the GOAT though.
Mob Psycho (Season 2)
There is so much I don't remember from Mob S2. I remember the Reigen and Mob separation arc, but the back half was almost new to me. I kind of love that all Mob's major psychic enemies are just dark versions of himself. Looking forward to season 3 to bring it on home.
Wattam
All Keita Takahashi games seem strongly designed to make you smile. I really like the theme of community in this. You start from one lone character, eventually rebuild the world, and reconnect everyone after some kind of apocalypse. They were even able to get Katamari's Prince in this.
Otr of the Flame by Yuki Kawaguchi
Kawaguchi can't seem to catch a break in Jump. He creates pretty interesting worlds, but they just don't catch on with the readers. I'm glad this one was a bit longer than Red Hood (almost double). Looking forward to the next series! ε·ε£γγγ―ι εΌ΅γ!
Bleach - Soul Society Arc
Bleach's first large arc. It's got a LOT of characters and is balancing a shonen rescue arc, a murder mystery, and a political intrigue story. Overall it still kicks ass and feels really strong. Ichigo gets like one dope ass moment every arc, and I love it.
