We’ve done a whole lot at MERIP over the last year that helps explain how we got here.

I am wondering what the situation at the border with Armenia is now - I haven’t seen any reports as yet.

Accidental radio 2 listening this morning. I’m not sure why I find β€˜the piano room’ so enraging, but I do.

Seems like all is not well at my high school. It was grim in the 90s, but i kind of hoped it had improved. www.itv.com/news/granada...

Important findings here (and sadly no surprise to disabled people or those of us who do casework).

Good to see a mention too of UCU’s event accessibility checklist. Our reasonable adjustment passport has also been helpful for members.

So sorry Katrina. It’s rubbish always having to question what you do (caffeine, alcohol, food, etc.) just in case it causes a migraine. The triptans are now starting to make me feel nearly as bad as the migraine... I have started printing out everything I need to read, it’s a pain but seems to help.

The funny thing was much of it was about accent, I never had a Rochdale accent - iβ€˜d picked up my mums Harpurhey tones! But not Rochdale seemed to equal β€˜posh’! strange place.

Yep. I was supposedly β€˜posh’ at school because I lived in Bamford and did my homework. When I got to university my suspicion that I was not posh at all, and barely even middle class, was confirmed…

For the first time since I was seven I have a full set of teeth. Getting (fake) canines wasn’t just a vanity project, it was tied to all kinds of trouble with my jaw, so I guess it was worth the six year, painful process. I’m needle phobic and generally not good with medical stuff so well done me.

Goodwin peddling his venom is the last thing we need round here - I’m thankfully just over in the next constituency, but a grim prospect nonetheless.

I always try to do this. Sometimes the horribly clunky online portal’s we are forced to use now make doing this seemingly simple task harder!

What kind of idiot makes an appointment for a 3 hour dental procedure on January 2nd? On the bright side only one more to go until this five year long process comes to an end and I finally have a complete set of teeth!

You have probably been round in circles with this already but high dose aspirin and switching triptans broke a similar kind of migraine for me. Hope it eases x
