Toddler stands ankle-deep in fluffy snow at the edge of garage. Preschool brother sits in plastic tote-turned-sled waiting to venture into the frozen tundra of the driveway. Both have thin jackets. Preschooler’s jacket has Dino scales on the back and hood.

❤️❤️ being truly supported makes ALL the difference when teaching. I can absolutely tell you that my current admin is the best I’ve ever had. They truly care, they listen, and they respond with their best efforts. Not that they’re perfect, but they don’t expect me to be either?

As opposed to us, where we accidentally sent the whole school into lockdown by sending the wrong signal on the system 😳

I had a similar experience on the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL last year. Thankful for the training that we repeat every year in that moment for sure.

This year, my husband and I decided to cook our own turkey in addition to the one he was smoking for my dad’s house. He also grabbed a brisket to smoke at the same time.

Realized today that I’ve been having an allergic reaction to the hickory in the new pellet blend, not just getting sick. 🤧

Yeah…my middle kid left the leftovers in the car for two days. Would’ve been fine in a lot of places. But we live in Alabama ☠️

I’m so excited bc I’ve been successfully #decluttering over the past few weeks. We purged & donated ~8 lg (33gal) trash bags full of clothes plus 2 of bedding (7 ppl)! That work made enough momentum for husband to really dig in too yesterday & we sent 6 more bags out of this house in just one push!

Spouse had a brain tumor removed April 2019 (grade 2). Clear scans till COVID derailed follow up MRIs. No scan in…years

Need to decide whether/when to schedule another scan, but also afraid of the dreaded answer that we got once before.
