If only the Prime Minister would weigh in and keep some of the premiers from privatizing and destroying it.

There are too many stories like this - my heart hurts for both of you. I was 7 months in pain being ignored/pacified and that 7 months felt like a lifetime. When a cancer diagnosis brings relief, something is terribly wrong with the system. It doesn’t have to be this way. It shouldn’t be this way.

I usually hate my photos, but I’m not mad at this promo for THE LIBRARIANS & the BookRiot podcast. This pic was taken in Berlin @ the Empty Library, site of the 1933 Nazi book burning. That moment will stay w me forever. It’s a reminder of the stakes of censorship.
