Noem was a disaster at every level, from start to termination.

Dropkick Murphys finish up their set at a benefit show across from Alex Pretti Memorial: β€œWe’ll never forget what we saw with our own eyes, we’ll never forget what we’ve seen here today. thank we’ve seen here today. Thank you all for allowing us to come bear witness with you, thank you Minnesota!”.

footballers have to be the only well paid workers who spend all week training and practicing their job only for, the moment they have to do the job, for the first 45 mins they forget everything and can't be arsed until their line manager steps up and shouts at em.

Judging from the prose, the Pentagon appears to be using AI to announce the death of soldiers. If it’s not AI, it’s a person who simply does not care.

corner batted away harmlessly. gravenberch takes a shot miles outside the box. thats it. gakpo is hardly a front man.

Liverpool's shape is weird. there's no one in spaces ahead for them to pass to. and no one is making runs. it's all crosses that Wolves are batting away easy. when Gravenbach made a run there, he was all alone. no pass options.

Britain's statement and half-protest at Russia and Belarus being at the Paralympics is only surpassed in its servility by the IOC statements and actions.

does Gakpo have compromising photos of Slot? how else does he have such poor form and yet always get selected. at least Robertson is finally getting a start.

THEY DIDN’T ORDER THE NEW CARD! Ffs. After the fraud scam case etc my account was frozen and I was supposed to be sent a new card. A week later I enquired as to its progress and the embarrassed guy on the phone admitted it had not been flagged to order the new one. So I’m still frozen. Ffs.

Dear Shabana,
I notice today that you referred to me in your speech on immigration at the IPPR think tank.
You said: β€œA party leader should not be on the beaches of France encouraging people to
make a perilous crossing on small boats.”
I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised especially after the hateful Labour campaign in Gorton
and Denton, but this is just the latest in a string of lies peddled by a discredited Government
who intentionally fan the flames of racism and division.
When I went to Calais, I was not there to encourage people to travel to the UK. I was there
to see at first hand the suffering your Government and successive Governments have done
in demonising migrants in a pathetic bid to pander to the base instincts of Reform and the
flawed strategy of Morgan McSweeney.
As you will know, if you even bothered to research my visit instead of taking Reform talking
points, I was there to witness the brutality of families living in tents in freezing temperatures. I
filled water tanks and picked up litter.
What that visit did do is confirm my belief that if we are to smash the boat gangs and stop
the boats, we need to offer safer and managed routes for migrants to come to this country.
Showing compassion as a politician is not a crime. In fact, we need to see much more of it.
It reminded me of a young MP who in October 2015 spent three days in Lesbos helping
migrants fleeing war-torn Syria. She posted videos on X, talked about handing out water and
croissants to refugees and food parcels.
When she returned to the UK, she wrote a very moving piece in the New Statesman. She
said β€œwe have to work with our European partners and create new, safe, and legal routes for
refugees to get to Europe. We cannot abandon them to their fate, left as prey for smugglers
whilst risking death on the seas.”
She said β€œmaybe we can make ourselves feel better by saying no-one is making them get on
the boats. And again, the Home Secretary is not entirely wrong when …

Dear Shabana,

Let's clear some things up around migration and remember we're talking about people's lives.

Read these words from 100 years ago about immigrants in Britain – and see how history is chillingly repeating itself | George Monbiot Shabana Mahmood’s new rights clampdown looks outlandish until we remember that this kind of hardline action is part of our country’s fabric, says George Monbiot

The precedent is eerily, chillingly precise. What the current Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood is doing to immigrants and refugees today is almost a carbon copy of what Sir William Joynson-Hicks was doing 100 years ago. And that's not a good thing. My column.
