I'm going to do a series of these for each job (I don't have all the ideas yet... but I will come up with them! Eventually. I have to make them first anyway)

Currently working on a Dark Knight themed series, featuring Sidurgu and a certain high lord of Ishgard... I've actually had half of it done for like. Months. BUT I'M GOING TO FINISH IT VERY SOON. I'm posting this to force my own hand.

...I feel so out of the loop. I only ever use it on desktop and never click off my Following feed, I feel like I'm missing everything. What is it this time?

For the first time in six years I'd actually be willing to go back!

Between the community and the gameplay both taking a definitive downturn, I agree. The story is still good, and I'll stick around for that, at least, but. As an actual MMO, it's not looking great... I'm having flashbacks to the low points of when I played WoW, recently.

Midnight won me over. I've always been a Blood Elf player, so an expansion themed around them is perfect for me

I think, at this point, I genuinely want to come back to World of Warcraft- I just need people to play with. That (and... being able to afford the game) are the only obstacles to it right now.

Or when the Egis and Faeries had different abilities. That variation would be super cool, even if it wasn't super major it would add a really fun level of diversity to the combat that is really needed

I don't remember it well enough because I was like 7 but my vague memories of it are fairly positive I think. Could be interesting
The closest XIV's gotten, at least when I've been playing, was when Astrologian had Nocturnal/Diurnal sect, and I've always wanted more like that

Interlinking them. All of my characters aren't directly linked to every other character, but there's enough connections between enough of them that it's impossible that they wouldn't all be around each other pretty consistently.

So, just... WoW: Cataclysm class system?

This presentation of Jay is deliberately very limited, given that this is primarily centered around NSFW content. People probably don't understand him fully, and that's fine. It isn't really the point in this context.

Genuine question- what about this is annoying or off-putting?

It's genuinely had to believe that I'm saying this, but I think I actually miss WoW. I never had a guild or in-game friends in... either game, really, but in WoW, I feel like I had more interactions with other players than I have in XIV. I don't honestly know how I feel about that

Why did they even fucking name the show that. Arcane is *SPECIFICALLY A MAGICAL TERM* and the show was about *THE ONE REGION IN LEAGUE'S ENTIRE WORLD THAT WAS EXPLICITLY NOT FUNDAMENTALLY LINKED TO MAGIC*
And of course they REWROTE THAT after the show released, too.

Initially, when I first fantasia'd to Au Ra, I didn't have them at all, but then I switched to having them after deciding his eye color wasn't obvious enough. It was kind of an agonizing decision.

Jay having the white highlights was actually an original decision for his FFXIV version, and I only did it because blue highlights like he was supposed to have were borderline invisible with XIV's hair color options. I actually went back and forth on the limbal rings for a while, too.

He... was the leader of the Ascians? Emet, Elidibus, and Lahabrea were the only reason the Ascians even existed. He literally established the entire Garlean empire himself, and is directly responsible for *all* of their imperialism. Reading comprehension check

Calling them "defenders" isn't really accurate, because there's quite literally nothing to defend, it's just covering their ears and going "I don't hear you" about the fact that he tried to mass genocide fourteen entire worlds

Homie that is a whole skill. I do not have the time nor energy nor motor skills to learn to do that, nor will I for the foreseeable future. I appreciate the positive energy but alas there are Many Obstacles to that

Why was this the most arduous thing to make. Why did each scene take me like seven hours? I even quite like each shot. Why was this such a pain

The stranger keeps a steady rhythm, and Dancing Green is lost in the groove! The playboy doesn't shy away from the spotlight. This party doesn't seem to be ending any time soon... (But the series is! 5/5)
