Screenshot of an X post by Acyn quoting Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez saying Trump impulsively acted in Venezuela and Iran, causing global instability, and suggesting spikes in instability coincide with revelations about the Epstein files. Below is a video still of Ocasio-Cortez speaking outside a government building.
Continuation of the same post showing Ocasio-Cortez arguing that if the Epstein files influence Trumpβs decisions enough to risk global conflict to protect himself politically, it means he cannot make objective decisions for the American people. The image shows Ocasio-Cortez speaking on a walkway outside a building.
She's right, you know.

βOne shouldnβt exaggerate the #economic fallout from this #war. But it isnβt occurring in isolation: There are many stresses on our #economy, and this could be the straw that breaks the camelβs back β a straw that becomes heavier the longer the war goes on.β open.substack.com/pub/paulkrug...

OCASIO-CORTEZ STATEMENT ON TRUMP'S COMBAT OPERATIONS IN IRAN "The American people are once again dragged into a war they did not want by a president who does not care about the long-term consequences of his actions. This war is unlawful. It is unnecessary. And it will be catastrophic. "Just this week, Iran and the United States were negotiating key measures that could have staved off war. The President walked away from these discussions and chose war instead.President Trump flippantly acknowledged the possibility of American casualties, stating "that often happens in war.' "Mr. President: this was not an inevitability. This is a deliberate choice of aggression when diplomacy and security were within reach. Stop lying to the American people. "Violence begets violence. We learned this lesson in Iraq. We learned this lesson in Afghanistan. And we are about to learn it again in Iran. Bombs have yet to create enduring democracies in the region and this will be no different. "In moments of war, our Constitution is unambiguous: Congress authorizes war. The President does not. I will do my part to uphold our Constitution by voting YES on Representatives Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie's War Powers Resolution. Every member of Congress must join us in rejecting this aimless war.

Oh, editing error (replaced repeated) in top of thread. If only I had an instant replay on these posts.
But U.S. Americans can't accept arbitrary rulings from authorities. This is my theory as to why the U.S. version of Taskmaster didn't (and can't) work. We don't accept someone being able to make a decision we can't have input in. No kings, etc.
