It's how I feel when I watch the Leafs on TSN π
It's how I feel when I watch the Leafs on TSN π
Lol I mean sunscreen is way down on the list when it's 20Β°C in March π
It's the worst. There's really no safe way to drive in it either.
A small black and white dog and ginger cat sit looking out open windows on a sunny warm day before a big freezing rain storm.
The cat and dog are REALLY enjoying the open windows and 20Β°C day.
They're REALLY not going to like the day-long freezing rain storm headed our way tomorrow.
Thanks false spring, thanks!
The lazy little spin on it going down the ice is just....so beautiful!
holy shit
Prisma-pencils on 8.5x11 inch Somerset Velvet print paper, or photo finish paper. (Hands Splash). Prints of drawings and photographs starting at $39 and up. (Originals 1/2 price). Thank you kindly
Oh shit. I'm sorry. That SUCKS.
Pulled out the rain boots but also kept out the winter boots. I never trust the weather to not pull a surprise snowstorm until at least Victoria Day and even then I've been surprised π (see June 2018 when it snowed in PEI)
FYI for anyone who drove through the chemical spill in Fredericton the last 3 days.
Oof! I know someone who once had to go from Montreal, Halifax, Montreal, Fredericton (her destination) because of storms π
That was a long day after already flying into Montreal from Vancouver lol.
In the Maritimes (Canada) we're at between $1.50/L and $1.70/L as of today. Gas jumped from $1.35 to $1.70 in a week and it keeps going. It's regulated but the interrupter clause keeps getting triggered. Diesel is about to jump 20Β’/L at midnight to $2.20+.
$15 gallons don't seem that crazy now. π
It went up this afternoon to $1.70 in PEI so I figured it was coming for us next.
The diesel jump is the killer though. That is going to blow prices up so badly and nothing is affordable now as it is.
Love being caught in the crazy.
If anyone local needs gas do it NOW. It's going up another 7Β’/L at midnight, diesel up 20Β’/L.
Super fun being caught up in everyone else's imperialistic bullshit.
Everyone's pockets worldwide are getting clobbered and we aren't even involved - in my part of Canada our gas prices are regulated but the benchmark is the NY Harbour price for refined petroleum. Our gas has jumped from $1.34/L to $1.50/L and diesel from $1.89/L to $2.10/L since Feb 27.
It hurts.
The surprise for me would be to trade him to Florida for Bob, making FL retain 50% of Bob's salary.
(only saying this because I think it would hilarious and Bob is the highest cap hit out there so of course Toronto would do something silly like that - and I say this as a Leafs fan haha)
PARALYMPICS OPENING CEREMONY DAY
Good morning sports fans across Canada and around the world. The waiting is finally over. The Winter Paralympics have arrived
Here in Cortina the excitement is palpable. Team Canada π¨π¦ is ready. Iβm ready. I know you are too. Hereβs your preview
The image is a horizontal bar graph illustrating people's perceptions of the morality and ethics of citizens in various countries. It is divided into sections representing "Very good," "Somewhat good," "Somewhat bad," and "Very bad." The left side shows countries listed from top to bottom, from the U.S. to Canada, with bars extending rightwards. The "Very good" and "Somewhat good" sections are shades of blue, while the "Somewhat bad" and "Very bad" sections are shades of orange. Each country has a corresponding percentage indicating how many people view their fellow citizens' morality positively ("TOTAL good") and negatively ("TOTAL bad"). The bars are positioned side by side, showing the proportion of positive versus negative views. Canada and Indonesia top the chart with the highest "TOTAL good" perception percentages at 92%, while the U.S. features the highest "TOTAL bad" perception at 53%. Shades of Crusades.
Sounds sort of like the Crusades??
I am really hating this timeline.
Correction: Special Envoy to the Shield of America
LOLOLOL
Why does this all sound like a plot from The Boys? YIKES!
WTF is homeland in quotes and WTAF is The Shield of America?
I am so sorry.
It was an honour to join her on the morning walks you shared with us all, and we will all keep you close in our thoughts.
So did I (even sans gummy) π
I did too and I haven't had a gummy (yet).
Also I don't know what it says about the state of the world that my first reaction wasn't wtf but instead, huh... π€
I think it's hilarious they put those three as healthy scratches last night and then BOOM! Roy! SURPRISE π
I wonder if the Doomsday clock folks are freaking out behind the scenes:
"We JUST changed it to the worst its ever been...and no one listened. Now what do we do?"
I wonder what 'our reality is now basically WW3 with both aggressors (and oh yeah Russia) holding nuclear weapons' does to the clock.
But was it worth it??? π
We had half a tank but I figured better tonight than wait. That next top up is going to HURT.
