Advice for everyone out there, instead of spending your $30-40 a month to the (soon to be) government-controlled media machine. Support like 5-10 of your favorite creators with a simple $1/month. The more support we have, the more we can take on this monopolizing.
Now that CNN and WBD are set to become state media in a sale to Paramount/Oracle/TikTok, it is especially important to support independent media.

I will say, that the drought that animation is experiencing is making me respect that The Simpsons are at least providing people job security. Smiling Friends ending is kind of leaving a sour taste in my mouth with how they had 2 seasons lined up and now the crew got that pulled out from under them.

Ya, It probably couldn't be 100% independent like Iron Lung was and it'd have to be with Neon or A24 or something so more like the Rucka Rucka route rather than the Markiplier route
With Independent film progressing with films like Iron Lung. I hope we can someday see Indie Animation breakout of the YouTube field as well. I'd be there Day 1 if Glitch Productions released something theatrically
Indie Animation (if you don't use Blender) is gonna be forced into pirate software in all positions cause corpos want to force you into AI horseshit that's currently burning their money piles.
