Described as "sexy" by interpretive signage at the reserve we found these in near #Narrogin.
I'm not sure I'd call these dragon orchids sexy, but they are very cool looking.

I use illustrations of malurids and acanthizids very frequently. To keep things consistent, I create a "type specimen" file in Adobe Illustrator which I can use on the net or in print . . . Here's a bit of a close up of my malurids, or fairy-wrens, each is little labour of love. #birds #birding
