The cover to Assorted Crisis Events #8, featuring a skewed look at panels on a page, done up in the style of an old romance book. Sitting in between the gutters, and slightly behind a panel, is a man, who seems to be GOING THROUGH IT.
Assorted Crisis Events #8 is back in print this week! Featuring everyday people trying to live through the effects of a time crisis, each issue tells a new story... and issue 8 used a newsprint paper stock to help tell the story. A beautiful object, a heart-rending story. Back on shelves this Wed!

This book has a slight Sin City flavour with Mad Max tendencies. If that appeals, check it out!!

A picture of a turkey that also says βtake some time for yourself this weekend (because we are closed for Thanksgiving Sunday)β and then also β(I mean, take some time for yourself because it is a good thing to do, but also, we are closed)
A reminder for folks: we are closed on Thanksgiving Sunday!
It's official: the Diamond PREVIEWS catalogue is no more. Not even digitally.
The last issue of the publication has a scant 98 words. At its peak, it would have over 600 pages of product listings.
A word balloon that just reads "howdy nerds".
As always, said with affection. <3
lot of people been posting this one but hereβs my post of it with my name correct. okie doke
Dylan is responsible for both our original logo set, and a slick updated redesign. Heβs great to work with and really infuses each project with carefully considered identity.
We highly recommend his services!

Out and about at the Parkland Regional Library System - talking to librarians about our library programs and book bans.
We are accepting donations for Edmonton's Pride Centre for the price of a copy, and in return, we will be gifting you a copy of RED HOOD #1, while supplies last. One per person.
Thank you for your time.
That said, we still have copies. Destroying them seems a little too far in the "book banning" lane, and selling them for profit feels ghoulish. So here's the plan.
Socials aren't the place for nuanced discussion, but we would like to address a recent comic book release.
DC has decided to cancel their current RED HOOD series after the release of its first issue. A request has been made that no more copies be sold.
Yeah, absolutely. Weβll get a copy aside for you!
Weβre putting something exciting together for the first collection out later this yearβ¦ πππ
Ahhhhh so many words that the thing we use to post won't let us hit all the characters. Apologies.

A man is carrying boxes. The words "Variant Edition's in city delivery program: it's a thing we do" is to the left of him, along with the VE logo.
Folks, we've been proud to be running out in city delivery program for a little over nine years now. Starting as a program for folks with low mobility (free once a month), it expanded quickly to help those low on time ($2 once a month, $4 for extra weeks). Ask about delivery options today!
One of our ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE creators is taking on the early days of Harley and Ivy! Certainly a far cry from the days that DC was insisting they were "just good friends". You know. Gal pals.

Absolutely, no problem.
A large stack of copies of THE KNIVES graphic novel by Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips.
Looks like THE KNIVES are coming out!
About once or twice a year, ED BRUBAKER and SEAN PHILLIPS work their magic on another amazing graphic novel. This time around, it is a return to the world of CRIMINAL, where unfortunate souls swirl around each other, just trying to survive.
