Oracle plans thousands of job cuts
The Oracle HQ on the East Bank is just gonna be a windowless data center.
This reminds me of a marketing gimmick from a bar in my hometown.
They had a 'Win a Happy Hour' contest. The prize was basically just you bringing your friends to patronize the bar. Everyone 'won'. Then they'd call & pressure you to schedule a happy hour.

American Values Under Attack: County Replaces 4-Way Stop With Roundabout

NDOT is starting to dip their toe in the narrowing-only traffic-calming designs. Just three rows of flex posts that define a lane and cause drivers to slow down. I think it can work. Interested to see results.
What are Summer tires? I'm from a 90" of βοΈ per winter city. We only had snow tires and all-season tires.
Roundabout in New Administrative Capital, Egypt.
This roundabout in Egypt has a large number of lanes.
Also there's a random misplaced taqueria from Chicago on Google Maps.

Daylighting an intersection in the East End Neighborhood of East Nashville.
Preventing cars from parking close to the intersection creates better sight lines for pedestrians & drivers.
Pinching the street width slows vehicles & shortens pedestrian crossing distances.
Cheap, effective safety
ADU's are great. We should legalize them everywhere.

Yep, there were two Tunnel related meetings on Monday 3/2. I had forgotten about the one in district 1, and wrongly assumed the article stated he was at the downtown church meeting adjacent to the Capitol.
Confusion on my part.
Error Correction:
I was 0/2 on this.
The Boring Co. VP did meet with Joy Kimbrough on Monday 3/2.
And the Nashville Mayor's Office was aware of the tunnel project before it was announced to the public.
Oh Ok, my mistake.
Oh OK. TY for the clarification, Erin. I missed they were talking about a different meeting that was occurring simultaneously to the one I attended.
Article is accurate β
That would be similar to a demographic questions.
'People who care most about greenways & transportation issues ranked CM Joe Blow highest'
TN Lookout article snippet. Full article linked in post.
@tennesseelookout.com Was Boring Co. VP David Buss at the meeting on Monday? This article implies he was there. Maybe he was?
This quote also implies The Boring Co. talked with the city prior to the project, of which there is no evidence. tennesseelookout.com/2026/03/04/t...
The meetings have shortened substantially under @angienashville.bsky.social.
Not sure if the long meetings (pre-2024) were a product of Covid-Times or if Angie has implemented efficiency improvements.
Probably a bit of both.
On the 56 headed to the State Capitol for SB2205 and the state resolution opposing the Tesla Tunnels.
33 of us on board. It would take anywhere from 11-33 underground Teslas to handle the capacity of this 40 foot bus.
@neilkornutick.bsky.social It is time for another round of councilmember rankings.
Release the Google poll !
Would be awesome to do it periodically like College Football rankings.

That business had a car go through the front glass a while back. We should put up some physical barriers.
I like this β¬οΈ.
My street was repaved and they re-painted a completely unnecessary center double yellow line.
@quinevanssegall.bsky.social Are you implying the tunnel is not a local issue?
I'm not following the drawbacks of a resolution against The Boring Co.
I'm open to learning new information on this.
I like the Good Citizen sign above the SUV parked in bike lane.
