I do the same and agree. Part of it is that you almost always dribble a small amount of pee if you use the portal. You also risk rubbing your pee hole on your zipper which sucks. Much easier to move the waistband. Thank you for bringing our attention to this controversy.

“It’s Alright Ma” is already one of my favorites, but I just love this era of Dylan in 1999. Larry Campbell is great, and they absolutely rocked during this era. He was so strong coming out of Time Out of Mind, and they were completely locked in. I also like the three guitar lineup.
