In the last parliament, just 25 NDP MPs brought us dental care, pharmacare, paid sick days and were the only voices for peace and justice in Palestine. Imagine what we could do with more New Democrats in government. On April 28th I encourage you to vote for Jagmeet and his NDP team of candidates.
I imagine this will only increase demand for Burnaby's 50 metre 10 lanes of swimming at our new Burnaby Lake Recreation Centre set to open in 2028.

Very sad day for local news. I know so many Burnaby residents who rely on this outlet to stay connected on what's happening at city hall and in their community I also feel for the dedicated staff who have been working hard to keep us informed for over 40 years.

Burnaby's new 18-hole disc golf course at Central Park has made an international list of most played courses.
There were a number of reasons why grade 5s were picked for the swim program, including wanting to more kids taking advantage of our Be Active Pass. Most students that age are able to change without adult assistance as well.
I'm so glad to see kids having fun while learning a valuable life skill. My goal is that we can expand the free program to all grade 5 Burnaby students.
