Happy Saturday, we're smoking that profound regret and despair pack today
Pencil sketch of an anthropromorphic female dragon with a long mustache wearing a long black qipao. She holds a large tea kettle and small cup to drink.

Stuck at a work meeting so I doodled Chinese dragons.
It activates the nutrients
The best touch in Lies of P is the motor torque sound effect when you do an execution, that little unspoken "I'm going to kill you so hard"
Well I always did want to be painted by John Martin
Last time I went to a barber the guy walleyed me, ignored my basic instructions and just threw on a #12 clipper and sheared me in 3 minutes
It feels like the one career path where everyone thinks they're so good at their job they don't actually have to listen to the customer to give them what they want
The first years of the 21st century ware a huge intersection of new technology and economic recovery that businesses felt safe to be exploratory in. Now after two more crashes no one's taking risks and entertainment is suffering hard for it
Sometimes a warmup is 3 straight hours of total shit and then waking up the next morning
It's nice to know some things never change
At my old job I tried to cycle between Taco Bell and Wendy's but it only took three weeks before I was 'the guy'
I mean if you'd rather be called a gringo that's perfectly fine dude
Our culture views art with inherent mysticism which breeds ideas about it being this biologically gatekept ability. There's a polarization of admiration and resentment over something that is entirely mundane in how its produced.
It's probably already too late to stop people from missing the point but the essentialist views most have on art are the real fuel to the generative crisis. They think you're performing a magic trick and willingly ignore the developmental aspects to actually get from point A to point B.
Nonsense linguistics are fine and all if you're intentionally doing a goofy story but it drives me nuts when the author doesn't even bother referencing an actual language just to sound coherent
Was probably the first time the three of them had pinged a real missile in their lives lmao
Once every few months I'll come across a new post of people arguing over dogs and cats at like a 4th grade debate level, weird how that keeps happening
Which is weird since it's still cold as hell
Sunrise doing a Bruce Timm noire deco mecha show is still one of the wildest things to happen in the 2000s, I need some more of that creativity
Seeing what I can learn from Frank
Getting the cat of nine tails back out of storage until I can develop my draftsmanship to an actual pro grade
I like how he gets a number of good faith responses and short circuits because he can't just admit what he's actually playing at
I'm enjoying Lies of P a lot having dug further into it but also the deflect timing and positioning never feel 100% there for me. By far the shortest hit boxes in any of these games I've played

The only variables you need to understand are texture, opacity, and sharpness, which are all things you can control without having to download new brush packs. I'd say you're better off tweaking your default options before you bother messing with new stuff
Obsessing over brushes is such weird behavior to me man, totally understandable to want something that just plain feels good to draw/line with but the frequency people ask about it tells me they genuinely think the brushes in question will let them capture the technique of that artist
The confidence is really what gets me. I guess someone who shoots 100+ yards with irons is superhuman then
I have so much respect for the self inflicted torment Tony Zaret goes through in research for his skits
the weather app should also show you the current World Tendency for your location
