BREAKING: Pro-EU candidate NicuΘor Dan wins Romania's presidential election - exit poll
BUCHAREST IS HISTORY
Exit polls suggest Mayor of Bucharest Nicusor Dan has defeated the right-wing extremist George Simion to become Romaniaβs next president, 55% to 45%. However, the exit polls donβt count the 1.6MM diaspora votes. This could go to the wire. Turnout was huge - 65 per cent - the largest since the 1990s.
