Spotify starves artists to pay this fuckin clown millions. It can feel daunting to leave if you've lived in it for years, but streaming music is a utility now, it's easier than you think to swap providers (and bring your playlists/library with you). Here's a good guide from @bcmerchant.bsky.social:

We're kinda in a bag transition period right now, so I feel you! Just got a new backpack for our trip to CA next week, and we need to replace one of our rolling suitcases, but not sure with what yet. It's so easy to get into a rabbithole with that stuff! I had to close the tab with that sub, ha.
I was curious, so I went, and I don't know what I expected, but yep, that's bags alright.
Angel Du$t was sick last night. Combust tore it up. Recollection was cool and surprised with a solid Pixies cover. Redeye was, of course, awesome. And Loose Leaf did pretty great for their first show! All in all, an awesome night at Soundstage.
I'm seeing kids pull out digital point and shoots at the show and honestly I love it.
