When you get not one, but two, consecutive "hole in one" brake applications with the stop mark lined up perfectly with the cab door 😁
I fear I may never repeat that feat 😂🚂

Ahh nevermind. There's not going to much worth coming down for once the 2+4s have gone 🥲
Signal maps are such a godsend in those situations! If I see you down this way again, I'll make sure I wave 😂
Not far behind at all! It overtook me as I was leaving Dawlish, but the signaller hadn't set the route through Teignmouth for it! We both ended up rounding the curve into Teignmouth at roughly the same time - was rather cool! 😁
That's a great shot, thanks! It's the first time I've ever done that hence the very serious look 😂 I'm glad you got to the bridge in time for the HST😁
Ahh! I was driving the very lost turbo going down the up being chased by an 800! Sorry for not waving!!😬
Was that yourself & Natt on the sea wall earlier about 1530?
A rare sight at Exeter these days....my request for a set swap was sadly declined 🥲
Indeed. Tags onto the back of 5L94 which runs during the week
A GWR 158 on the West of England line between Yeovil and Salisbury was too good a photo opportunity to miss!
I've had worse spare turns!
A Class 159 in South Western Railway's blue and grey livery stands on the disued platform 1 at Salisbury, with only the front door open.
2220: Book on
2230: Josh, can you come to Salisbury to bring 2 sets off the depot and taxi back.
2330: Pass to Salisbury
0020: Get to the depot "Oh we've already sent those sets out mate" 🥲
0114: Pass back
I did help top and tail a shunt move though, so drove a train for about a ¼ of a mile 😂
Yesterday's evening entertainment was the family friendly game of "Can you remember whether or not there's a 7 car mark at this station?"
I've now driven a 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 & 9 car formation, just need the 10 to complete the set!
When you get 4 different stopping patterns & 3 different headcodes for the same train, it doesn't hurt to have a somewhat large reminder of where you're meant to stop 😵💫😵💫😅
For me, launched is sent out on a job and released is going home 😅
Aha! Glad I could be of service. I got back to Yeovil exactly 1 minute before the end of my day!
I did creep through the platform at BSK, just in case the message hadn't got through...😂
Launched from cover this evening. Not signing via Winchester and Southampton has its perks I suppose!😂
A black and white copy of a signal box diagram, laid out on a grey carpet.
6 years on the railway today and looked what arrived in the post to mark the day. A copy of the 1961 signal box diagram for Gillingham, around the time my Grandad started on the railway 😊
Just got to do Yeovil-Axminster-Yeovil. 20 mins each way with 6 mins at Axminster 😅
I booked on at 2320 last night, still waiting for my first (and last) bit 🥲😂
Hey Will, can I be added please?😊
