Trump 2.0 is:
* Throw out the baby
* Keep the bath water
* Poop in the water & blame the baby
* Make people like Rubio drink the poopy water & pretend itβs the greatest tasting in all of history
This would be nuts even if they were govβt employees with clearances: βThree of the sources said the DOGE personnel wanted to gain access to security systems and personnel files. Two of those sources said also they wanted access to classified information.β www.cnn.com/2025/02/02/p...

American men are killing women.
Feminism is my second favorite f-word. Fascism is my least favorite.
Combine the best with the worst, (add in feminism for good measure), and you get a mission.
The 2025 4th of July isnβt going to feel great. Itβs on a Friday, which is at least helpful for planning. Know any groups organizing any actions? Protests in cities? Protests at any βdeportation campsβ or building sites? I know itβs just 1 day/weekend, but it seems like an opportunity not to miss.
Niceness is quiet & tries not to make waves. It tolerates the unacceptable to avoid discomfort.
Kindness is authentic & action-oriented. It doesnβt care about βpoliteness,β but a concern for others & what is right.
βDonβt talk about politicsβ is nice.
Addressing the consequences of politics is kind.
To scare you into silence. Into compliance.
To make you avert your eyes as he undoes what took over two centuries to build. For fear of his retribution.
There is a fine line between fear and fury.
So when you look at what he's trying to do. How he's trying to make you feel.
Let it be fury.
This should terrify every American. It doesnβt matter where you stand on immigration. Using our military as a domestic law enforcement tool at mass scale will destroy its core purpose, turn the American people against them, and damage the institution for decades.

One of my fears of a second πpresidency has always been the fact that crucial U.S. systems were already pushed to the breaking point or near breaking point. Itβs not fun or sexy advocacy, but we have to protect the certain elements of the architecture or else paths forward will be all the harder.
Candidates can talk all they want about dramatic bureaucratic changes, but thatβs a huge signal that they have no idea what they are doing and donβt even know what they donβt know. And, coupled with someone who DGAF and lacks any humility or wisdom, itβs disastrous.
They came to realize that there are very good reasons and rationale behind why things work the way they do. Sure, there are ways around the edges to explore increased efficiencies, but thatβs a slight hair cut not a complete makeover. This is a significant consequence of hiring βoutsiders.β
Congress was a significant source of push back because they have established lots of laws (authorization bills) that seek to set parameters for agencies of the Executive Branch tied to funding (appropriations). In every example, once people unfamiliar with the bureaucracy got under the hoodβ¦
Bureaucracy is complex, especially in a country as large as the United States. As a policy advocate in DC for close to two decades, I saw multiple examples of people coming in claiming inefficiencies and trying to make drastic changes to Departments and Bureaus.

Find the anger. Find the fire. Burn what needs to burn. Center and stand with those most at risk. Join all the generations who have been working to build something worthy.
For those of us who donβt use anger often or at all, it can be immensely uncomfortable to process and channel.
Change requires discomfort.
And, this moment requires change.
Women have been told anger isnβt for us. We are judged for our feelings as a means to silence us. Because our wrath would be too great, too disruptive, too powerful if trained upon oppressive systems that rightly deserve to be dismantled.
Anger isnβt good or bad. Itβs human. It simply is.
Anger can teach and transform. It can be used as a touchstone for strength and resolve. If processed and channeled, it can fuel us in constructive ways.
