Update: Been healing well, thankfully looking like I won't be needing a 3rd surgery. Got a cheap standing desk and got it all set up, art shall hopefully resume sooner rather than later.

Yet another health-related hiatus, hopefully it doesn't take me away from art for another 2 years this time.

Made a second bluesky account @phroxphrix.bsky.social where I'll dump my studies and stuff like that so that i don't flood my main account with it.

Fixed up some stuff, not too happy with the arm muscles but it is what it is. The sketch was going to be the finished version, but i finished it too quickly and wanted to keep drawing, so i made a colored version as well. #PhrixArt #PhrixOCs

More progress, but still a WIP. I used to not post WIPs since they tend to make me lose interest in finishing a piece, but for some reason posting em after an art stream doesn't demotivate me the same way. Probably won't post em all the time, but its nice to do every now and then. #PhrixArt

WIP sketch from the stream. Wanted to revisit an old character design I made a few years ago. I think her name was Kohaku, but i barely ever drew her so idk if that's even her name. #PhrixArt

These ones here, for clarity. Makes it really annoying to paint when you get weird artifacting that doesn't go away.

CSP being locked to 8-bit color depth is really frustrating for me. The color-banding you get from using softer brushes was simple enough to handle, but whenever I try to paint with colors of similar values I get these unappealing shapes. It's not always visible, but it's enough to annoy me.

Kamen Rider W stuff, watched and read all of it during the hiatus (at least the stuff that was translated into English).

After 2 surgeries and ALMOST 2 years of recovery time, I'm finally doing well enough health-wise to get back to drawing regularly. Probably not enough to make more polished stuff, but I needed to hold off on that stuff anyways. Only doing studies or full illustrations kept burning me out.

Haven't been able to draw much this year due to surgeries and health complications, but I'm hoping to get back to it some time in 2025. Thanks for the opportunity/excuse to repost my stuff during this time.
