Saturday January 31 4:30 pm, Bluestone Bike & Run is sponsoring a Memorial ride from their shop for Alex Pretti, Renee Good, Keith Porter, Herber Domínguez, Victor Diaz, Parady La, Luis Yenez-Cruz, Luis Caceres, Geraldo Campos, and all people abused by ICE and CBP. Cyclists will ride from 1570 S Main at 4:30 pm for a lap of silence around Court Square. The event info also says:"It will be freezing so bundle up and bring lights. In times like this when things seem hopeless and out of control we have to come together and support our communities. If you would like to support this ride, but aren’t a cyclist, or aren't up for riding at these temps, you are invited to join in another way: Line up around Court Square, or anywhere along the route on Main Street between BlueStone and Court Square, holding a candle to honor those lost to ICE violence. Things to remember: Never block a sidewalk, don’t engage with counter protestors if there are any, and don’t get in the path of the cyclists. Full event information on the Bluestone Bike & Run page.
