Final scores were:
800 Chaos
600 Wood Elves
500 High Elves

It was a fun experiment that turned out pretty well. No major problems and we will definitely be trying this again.

It was the first time these Wood Elves had taken to the field, using the new #ArcaneJournal and they were damn good!

And this was how they deployed, not a great deal of space but it didn’t matter for our smallish armies.

Yesterday we tried #Warhammer #TheOldWorld with 3 players in a no holds barred free for all. 1250 points of #HighElfRealms , #WoodElves and #WarriorsOfChaos did battle. These were the forces posing for a pic

Finished my first Dragon Prince of Celador, I’m happy with how he turned out, it could take months to finish the other 9 however!!

Repainted my very old #HighElfMage recently, it’s not great but it is better. I’ve barely painted for 18months or so and I’m frustrated at how far back I’ve gone, also I need new paints and brushes … snooze.

Had a first this weekend, a game of warhammer old world against a whole new opponent! Had a great time! He played a goblin army which was also new to me! I got spanked! Even my lvl 4 wizards were out done and slain by some shroom addicts!

Rugluds armoured orcs remain my all time favourite miniatures!

Bigger games do take an age but they are worth it! You can do things to speed up play, we played a game where we were limited to one heroic move per turn for example. Or if you have 2 walls of infantry clashing, roll neighbouring identical combats in pairs, it spoils the intricacies however

Back in the day we used trays simply as a way of moving blocks of infantry quickly when playing big siege games. Once combat was joined the trays were removed

That’s why my cultists have orange trousers and bright guns 😂
