It's not hyperbole to suggest that today we have a federal government that doesn't so much represent or resemble a federal administration as it does a family crime syndicate.
In tonight's speech, the president did what he does best: celebrate himself. But if anyone was looking for leadership focused on easing their current economic pain, he made clear that they'll need to look elsewhere.
Both the men’s and women’s USA hockey teams won gold, yet Trump joked about “having to invite” the women to the White House, and the room laughed. This is the party that ran on “saving” women’s sports, and by that I mean used it to shoehorn bigoted messaging into a campaign.

there's something unholy about the Trump administration being laser focused on "fraud" while Trump pardons an endless clown car of fraudsters and bilks taxpayers at every opportunity. it's just transparently absurd.

This isn’t about convicting Don Lemon. It’s unlikely that will happen. It’s about intimidating journalists & making them censure themselves out of fear of consequences. It’s about eroding the free press because the administration can’t afford the criticism.
The Epstein files are 40+ days overdue because the FBI/DOJ needs more time” but they have plenty of time for Kash Patel’s partying, raiding election offices because of 2020, and arresting Don Lemon. These people are the most corrupt people in existence.
