I usually dont get to play a lot of casters in d&d so having the opportunity to flavor the spellcasting is always such a treat.

Like, connecting it to a central theme of the character. Like my current one, she's a chemist so I'll use chemistry for her spells and I then choose spells which fits that

a sphinx with iridescent (ish) feathers and hair, decked out in jewlery, stands infront of a large stone (which is a meteor) ingraved with draconic (demonic?) creatures, some bells and scripts. lore section: the sphinxes are daughters of Kaos who all live in various mountain ranges around the world. They are mother of all harpies, who snatches her prey for her to.. uh have more babies with and or eat maybe? currently the sphinxes of the Kobathic mountains are in a precarious situasion due to reasource hungry colonist have set up shop by the Lazawardi coast - and they do not respect the harmony of the land, enslaving both nature and man.

did some small redesigns from the last image, also the markings on the back of her cape is Gibbs free energy formula in elvish lmao just the thing that stood out the most to me when i last did chemistry
