somebody on the old site pointed out that scene is like showing up at a new office, and there's a weird guy dressed like a wizard going "Microsoft Excel is no match for the power of sorcery"
then after he almost kills you, everyone else is like "no, really, he is a wizard, and he will kill you"
These comics are reminding me how much I love anti-feats. I love them, I love when characters punch way below their weight class for absolutely no reason, I love when "the incident" hangs over them like a shadow for the rest of time.
POV: Du bist Dark Souls 1 protagonist und der Asylum Demon ist tot.

Lawful Evil is the funniest alignment. Nothing Le Wacky Wholesome Chungus Chaotic Good bard does will ever be as funny as the guards in Morrowind asking you if you have a license for that murder then pleasantly apologizing for holding you up when you produce said license.
Superman in a cowboy hat
"We need a new bad Star Wars movie!"
Dave Filoni rolling up with "The Mandalorian and Grogu":
We need someone to make a new bad Star Wars movie so we have something low stakes to bitch about. I think we ran out of takes on the latest trilogy.

It may seem naïve on the surface, but when you think about it, "the revolution comes when people play games other than D&D" is a deeply pessimistic political philosophy.
My game's Camarilla Scourge was a big fan of hunting Caitiff with a pack of ghoul dogs while wearing a fox hunting outfit before the local Sabbat dynamited him.
August the Nosferatu (played by a friend)? Homophobic.
The wicked De Bayonne brothers from clan Toreador (played by a friend)? Shockingly racist.
Rima the Setite (played by a friend)? Poured a hot tea kettle on a Malkavian neonate because she thought it was funny.
It feels weirdly prescient that my Vampire: the Masquerade campaign's villains (both ones I played and ones I dealt with) existed within an unjust capitalist system but were the villains mainly because of unrelated, deeply-held personal bigotries.
session 1 of the campaign: your PCs have to present to three skeptical dragons on why their party is worth investing in.
dragons realize that they can ultimately accumulate more gold by investing their capital in human enterprises instead of letting it sit under the mountain
*getting burnt as a Cathar by the church in the Albigensian crusade* this is capitalism's fault

Happy year of the Horse!
Here's this weird guy from my personal project
This one's a little older, but he's still one of my favourites!
There is genuinely no point in United States history where it could be considered anything resembling a monoculture.
George RR Martin: And then LARGE LAD met the evil Larry Longinch who was also but not as large as LARGE LAD. They fought to the death and LARGE LAD won because he was larger.
Me, gripped reading the book: This is the greatest work of literature in human history.
