6년 전인 2019.01.24 평양에서 김영남 최고인민회의 상임위원장에게 주북한 영국대사로서 신임장을 제정했습니다. Six years ago today I presented my credentials as British Ambassador to the DPRK to Kim Young Nam, President of the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly in Pyongyang.

오늘 최상목 대한민국 대통령 권한대행 초청 주한 G7 대사 오찬 간담회에 참석했습니다. Huge thanks to ROK Acting President Choi Sang-mok for hosting me and other G7 Ambassadors to a lunch meeting today.

Delighted to join Mayor Oh Se-hoon and hear his optimistic assessment of prospects for Seoul in 2025. 어제 오찬회의에서 오세훈 서울시장님의 2025년 신년사를 경청했습니다.

서울시청 무안 여객기 사고 희생자 합동분향소에서 조의를 표했습니다. I expressed my condolences at the memorial to the victims of the Muan air disaster, set up at Seoul City Hall.

Why do Chinese characters have only one “radical”?

For example, 煮 (Mandarin zhǔ 'boil') has only the [FIRE] radical 灬 which is an abbreviated form of 火.
