I always do my best to tip well, as long as the service is provided. If the food takes forever, that's not the server's fault. Unfortunately, even almost livable wages aren't a thing in this country.

It's a lot of food. I personally prefer a smaller cut of meat. The meal sizes are ginormous, at least here in MN. (I'm not sure where you are, but we love our meats, potatoes, and veggies.) I bring leftovers home and eat most of them, but there has to be a middle ground.

I do too, but I can't always eat that much. A petite menu would cut down on food waste, & potentially bring in more revenue. It's an untapped market. A few months ago, I had some filet mignon bites from a high-end restaurant's kids' menu. They upcharged me $5. I tipped 35% as a thank you. 🤷‍♀️
