I was told I was a 'University hopeful' by my school but they never asked what I'd like to do. I left before 'A' levels to go to secretarial school. My mother thought there was no point in uni, 'because you'll get married.' ๐คฆโโ๏ธI never did, but I got a BA in my 50s.

We were joined by Dunvegan Primary School today as part of #worldbookday. They asked us lots of great questions about running a bookshop and explored our stock, then @louisbarabbas.bsky.social read them a story and discussed the ethical minefield of the traditional euro-centric fairy tale canon.
