All of this (the TESCREAL bundle of ideologies) is utter nonsense and we should call it out as such as frequently and loudly as possible.
AGI is not around the corner, no one is building an artificial god, humanity is not settling on Mars, and LLMs are not oracles.
We didn't make a lot of predictions in The AI Con, but @emilymbender.bsky.social reminded me that we did call this one:
