The California Assembly Bill 2047 document, tilted at a jaunty angle over the California Republic flag, conveniently blocking the bear... which is probably also on a state watchlist for having claws capable of subtractive manufacturing.
California's New Bill Requires DOJ-Approved 3D Printers That Report on Themselves
Your 3D printer needs to be on a DOJ-approved list or it can't be sold in California. Disabling the surveillance software? That's a misdemeanor. π»

I'm on the West coast, getting ready to head to the airport for a trip to Mexico. I absolutely had to deal with this in real time.

I'll believe it when they ACTUALLY pull agents out.
Highlighting the speaker who stood in front of the Surprise mayor and told him to consider what the Mayor of Ohrdruf mustβve thought before he died by suicide: βHe might have thought βhow is this my fault I had no jurisdiction over thisβ maybe he said βthis site was not subject to local zoning.ββ
This should play in campaign ads for the midterms
Don't forget Miller
Screenshot of the JLCPCB Instagram profile showing a mix of content styles: AI-generated presenter reels alongside videos featuring real human presenters and factory staff. The grid includes an AI avatar giving SMT assembly tips, close-ups of PCBs, and human presenters in factory and outdoor settings, illustrating JLCPCB experimenting with both AI-generated and human-led video content on the same account.
Maker Business: We Are Allowed to Look at Things - JLCPCBβs (AI-generated) Presenter
JLCPCB has an AI-generated presenter for SMT assembly tips. We looked at it, and wrote about marketing in the electronics industry. π€π

They didn't completely cover the sender. The bottom of the first name looks like "Susan" to me.
I would suggest having people watch youtu.be/kSno1-xOjwI?... before using clawdbot/moltbot. It has a pretty severe design flaw from a security perspective.
I wrote about my childhood friend Alexi Pretti. Please read it and share it and remember him as a human being. @theverge.com

A video of Alex Pretti reading out the final salute of an unnamed veteran he cared for until the end of his life in the ICU, posted to Facebook by his son.
What will it take for them to arrest them for obstruction?
FreeCAD may be worth looking into. The more recent versions have had a lot of good improvements
Emails, work chat, news, rest my eyes, and for personal projects at home I'm usually also playing a game that does not require constant focus.
This made my night. I just found out that if you're a California resident, you can use consumer.drop.privacy.ca.gov to request data brokers delete your personal information.
That's pretty much the plot behind "The Atrocity Archives"
It's a very mild humidity compared to Miami.
I actually miss some of the spiders in Miami. They were more chill and less creepy than the ones here. These guys just sit in plain view with a "leave me alone" vibe whatnext10.com/2021/05/15/t...
I think it depends on where you live. Here in the Bay area there are SO many. But where I grew up in Miami there were none around the HVAC systems.
Probably welding, metal working or woodworking. They require a lot of care in the setup, but welding in particular takes skill to do well (I'd need a lot more practice). I can easily hyperfocus on them.
The best part was seeing the comment, then slowly scrolling the Waffle House into view.
How did you collect that data?
The statement `if let PAT = VAL { ... }` only enters the block if VAL can be deconstructed by the pattern in PAT. So it can even be something like
let x =7;
if let 1..=10 = x {
println!("X is btw 1 and 10");
}
The arms of a match expression have to be exhaustive in comparison.
I think there are some cases where that's true, but there's also instances where one dependency is split into many for compiler performance reasons. For example, bevy, splits into many internal crates: crates.io/crates/bevy_.... Whereas in C/C++ this would be considered one library.
Did you check if there was lint or dust in the USB-C connector? That's almost always what prevents me from charging older USB-C devices. I grab a thin toothpick or needle and carefully scrape them out.
I don't think so. How would that work?
I remember breaking 3 plastic scrapers trying to get a nearly inch thick layer of ice off a windshield. I hate freezing rain.
