that's what I love so much about him, that he's someone who is committed to his beliefs... he's so cool to me T__T also ahh maybe because I've mentioned that I'm new to making doujin in particular and long-form stories (I only ever drew short comics haha)

but while reading, I'm inviting the reader to IMAGINE what kind of face Goro would be making while Akira is crying. Someone commented that Goro's lips are quivering, even though that wasn't my intention. Even I don't really know what face he makes, but the last expression was decided from the start!

actually thank you for picking up on that, it's actually very intentional. I tried really hard not to show Goro's expression at all until the very end, because I felt that it would be more impactful to realize that when he faces Akira, he will not show any hesitation/he'd keep his stern gaze

huhu thank you! I would say that I've always loved drawing comics, so even though it's difficult for me and I'm not very good at them, my desire to tell a story is stronger than anything so I just try to challenge it every time. Maybe I've picked up a lot over the ones I finished with brute force!

I think this is how Goro shows his care, and also he's just someone who is hell bent on his beliefs and I admire him so much for that... ;v;

omg 😭 wahh thank you... I'm always so surprised when people praise my paneling because I just BS it every time and hope it works, I am proud of how this comic turned out though and I'm relieved to finally have drawn it... I wanted to make sure the emotional beats were done right.
