Vibrations are minimal. I'm also not blasting my ears, er, skull with hard volume (blatant plug for the upcoming re-release of the new old podcast). I think that using hearing aid tech for wider consumer use like this is novel, but listening to loudly with these could cause long term damage.
So, let's get into it: At $180 they're expensive, y'all. If not for the 45 day return policy there's no way I would have bought these for myself. I've edited podcasts, listened to a bunch of albums and there is discomfort afterwards. But, I haven't experience balance issues.

I've been trying out the OpenRun Pro2 by Shokz. They use bone conduction unlike conventional earbuds that put the sound directly into yer ear holes. If you've not read my posts about it before, the gist is I can't tolerate regular headphones or earbuds. Pretty painful: Jaw pain, ear pain, gnarly.
Perfect description! I totally agree about the overall consistency, especially when the range of songs on this one doesn't flow through the whole album like the previous ones. That notwithstanding, some of these songs are absolute standouts. Like, holy shit! 😂
I might be going backwards through the entire discography. Maybe. Possibly. Precisely.
It's been about a week and while there's some irritation, it's been pretty tame. Not nearly as painful. I think that I could do short times at low volume with these but nothing long like 40 minutes to an hour. The experiment continues.

BTW, all the originals are on black so if you see "clear" pressings on Discogs going for $499 (I'm not kidding) just pick up a CD or buy a digital download.

I was today-years-old when I learned that the masters to Weight and The End of Silence are lost and any repressing of them is from digital, probably a CD. What a shame.
