Yeah, we don’t usually see four together!

An early morning photo of four beavers together on and near a brushy point on a lake. Two are quite large, and two on the point are chewing bark off of a small log they’ve hauled ashore.

Four-beaver morning at the local wetlands park, we managed to sneak in a few miles hiking between snow squalls. Actually we saw another furball later, but four together was cool. #Hiking #Beavers

Zero rationality in our current situation.

You know, she was supposed to be bad bad bad, but she stood up for Ukraine and stood up to Trump. I don’t know about the rest but respect that.

They’re probably skiers themselves, not stranded drivers. I’m guessing.

Sheesh you've got warblers already? Have not been seeing or getting any on Merlin lately during our hikes. Only new arrival has been waxwings.

I planted parsley in a pot last week. It is now buried under snow. Hardy stuff though, I think it will spring back.

Nice isn't it? Should melt away this afternoon, just how I like it. A brief burst of pretty.

Terrific photo, the wind-blown scarf takes it to another level.

Trees flocked with fresh snow in the early morning, mostly green conifers but one vine maple tree bare of leaves next to a sloping roof covered with white snow.

Unexpected snow out the front door this morning, first of the winter here. #Seattle area.

FFS Iran has only been threatening to do that for 40 some years! They didn’t anticipate it? What the actual fuck? Stoopid shits.

Not a great start for the exec. Not the layoffs and not the attitude.

He’s OK with the devastating consequences of his own actions, that’s what he is saying.

Was just talking about this, recalling how friendly folks were when I bummed around Holland in the 70s. And how that bridge might currently be aflame. I do know many Canadians are enraged at this administration, but not Americans in general.

Everyone was real friendly when I was there and most fluent in English. That bridge, however, may currently be burning. 🀨

Spent a few weeks bumming around Amsterdam and Utrecht in 1973, enjoyed it.

Wind is ruffling the lower feathers of a small brownish hawk perched on a fence. It is mostly brown and white in a pretty pattern, with a gray head and short curved beak.

Another shot of the hawk on the fence, its head turned to the right, showing one red eye.

Bit of a blow here yesterday and overnight, slightly ruffled the feathers of this little sharpshinned hawk who showed up near the front yard bird feeders.

He is a monster and it’s hard to come to grips with the fact that Americans elected him. It’s disgusting.

I'm going to say almost certainly bogus. At the same time, almost certainly the orange creep is a pedo.

Seems like increasingly in the last 10 or more years we’re getting good amounts of late season snow. This week will give us some cushion for summer flows and reservoir levels.
