Feels kind of like a Ruidiaz situation where we might be hanging on to a guy for too long. Brian mentioned starting succession planning for Yeimar recently but this needed to start at least a year ago if you ask me

I really don’t like how the Sounders are handling their CB situation at the moment. Trading RBW away means it’s more difficult to shift Alex there. Yeimar was not great last season, had two muscular injuries, and is turning 34. We cannot rely on 2000 quality minutes from him in 2026, let alone 2027

I feel like relying on a 36 year old Kim Kee-hee to be the backup for 33 year old Yeimar who had multiple muscular injuries last year is not an ideal plan

You don’t actually have to win anything to impress these people. As long as you have enough players, especially Americans, below the age of 24, you are a winner in their eyes

Seattle got about 2 minutes on soccerwise when they won last week, and national pundits almost never have anything to say about them except for “winning culture” slop. But they lose to RSL because the goalie stood on his head and now it’s a 16 minute segment about how we got “crushed” 😂

Your CBs are all old so you have to play your RB at CB but your backup RBs all have to play winger over the next few weeks due to the Jordan and Pepo and Georgi injuries so you don’t have a backup RBs or a backup CB

Looking at the congestion we have coming up and the available players we have, I’m really quite annoyed that we let Reed Baker-Whiting go. The depth was a major point of strength of this team and we just let a bunch of players go

Really bummed to see Georgi get hurt right as he would have had an opportunity for some starts with the congestion coming up

What a great goal from San Diego to make it 2-0. I’m sure everybody watching MLS Season Pass on Apple TV got to see that goal and thought the same thing when they saw that goal because they obviously showed the goal on the broadcast

I’m guessing that Penso thought that first penalty shout that went to VAR was more of a 50/50 coming together. But for me, Lukic is about to control the ball there and fails to do so because Raul Gustavo takes his legs out. Not really a 50/50, should have been a penalty
