Haha it just pops up over and over again. π
Haha it just pops up over and over again. π
I donβt know about how freaky Iβm down with getting, but I will try and be here more.
Iβm sorry all, yes I am in the bad place, but I miss you guys. As far as the original question, no I have not bent any hat beaks. I just bought a new hat this morning, and have no intention of beak bending.
Haha it sure is, and lord knows it hadnβt gotten any help from us. π’
Picture of a very tall and spindly cherry tree in the front yard of a house taken from a second story window. The only branches are on the very top due to repeated failure on the part of its owners to protect it from deer when it was smaller.
Haha it is actually a cherry tree, but columnar is still a very apt description. This is a picture of it from about a month ago, still no lower branches to speak of. π
I believe so, yes.
Haha wow. If people are genuinely planning to go, I wonder if it is largely out of some weird wish to be a part of what promises to be yet another historically epic dumpster fire?
They are seriously attempting it again? Follow up question, if they are, who in their right mind would go?
A lot would be my guess. π
Probably Jets for me also. Both my parents have Winnipeg roots, and they are probably the only Canadian team that I could actually get behind winning the cup other than Vancouver. I would say the Sens too but Brady Tkachuk exists.
Yeah Lord Fishington doesnβt eat them right away either. I donβt think Iβve ever actually seen him eat, they just eventually disappear, and Iβm assuming he does eat them based on the fact that he isnβt dead. π
We are holding onto some absolute favourites.
I am right there with you. I hate Elon with great vigour, so the conflict is real.
We are donating all of our Little Critter, Curious George, Dr. Seuss, and a whole host of other family favourite books because our kids are now too old for them, and I am not ok.
There are definitely a fair number of people who have completely left there for here, but there are also still a lot of people who are either both here and there or still entirely there. That coupled with the fact that itβs still better for some things is the main challenge for me.
He is a very active little guy, and I find watching him swim around and do his thing very soothing.
Yeah I have always loved fish, but I was admittedly hesitant because our lives are extremely hectic as it is, and I know all the tank maintenance etc. will ultimately fall on me. π My wife got him primarily for the kids, but itβs me by far who is most enamoured with him.

Oh man, Bloobs looks excellent! We just got one a little while ago thanks to my wifeβs wild impulsivity. My kids named him Sharky, but I call him Lord Fishington. I really need to get a better picture of him when all his fins are flared out, heβs pretty fricking fabulous.
Haha nope! π
Haha I laughed so hard when he said that.
So youβre saying there is nowhere to go but up? π
Yes, I was lazy in addition to wrong.
Lekkerimaki.
I have thought about that a lot.
Hope they can win it for Chytil. π’
Someone who lives near us has one, so we see it almost every day. Iβve really got to start taking notes of all the hilarious things my kids say about how stupid they look, they are ruthless! π
Thank you!
Totally unrelated note, could I message you about something at some point? I know DMs are a terrifying hellscape for women, so I always like to ask. Itβs nothing bad and nothing you need to worry about, there is just something going on for me right now that Iβd love to hear your thoughts on.
I am going to really try to get back to spending more time here and less in the bad place, but Iβll also try and convince some others to make their way over here!
Yes.
