Basically: there have always been bad games, but there are currently far more good ones than most people even have time to play in a year. I'm struggling to finish Expedition 33 before wanting to move on to Doom in a few weeks! The only real difference here (again, looking at the actual data), is that certain people give extra attention to the games they don't like in order to try to justify a politically-motivated narrative. We used to just laugh at and then move on from bad games, but that doesn't happen anymore because politics.”
