We've completed improvements to a popular 450-metre stretch of the River Ver trail in St Albans.
The footpath between Holywell Hill and Cottonmill Lane has been restored and the pedestrian bridge that crosses the river has been replaced.

James Blewitt, 35, was also given a 16-week suspended jail sentence.
He dumped the waste at Musicale, a teaching centre at St George's School.

The butterfly population at our summer meadows has increased by 350% in just three years thanks to a major wilding project.
Forty key grassland sites across the District were seeded with wildflowers and mowed only once to boost biodiversity.
