Fun fact: initial physical copies of this game were prone to corruption over time. My copy of Omega Ruby actually dumps a bad ROM of the game now because the internals have degraded and messed up some data. Now the game crashes if you try to enter the wrong trainer battle.

The team I used to get Rank A was Meta Metagross, Garchomp, and Clawitzer.

Metagross is the powerhouse that can chain kills, Garchomp is the defensive pivot and EQ spammer for other steel types, Clawitzer can snipe other mons with Ice Beam and Hydro Pump since a lot of meta threats are weak to them

The only Yveltal I've seen was someone using Fly and Phantom Force over and over again instead of an actual valid strategy. Haven't seen Diancie one time, understandably so. It doesn't do anything against the top threats.

Xerneas is some hot ass in ZA ranked. Has no way of beating the steel/fire types that can murder it, and Geomancy kinda sucks since you're so vulnerable while using it.

Mega Metagross is actually insane in this meta as well, I've been able to chain 4 or 5 kills together and auto win because of it.

I’ve liked the Jays my whole life but this year made me a huge fan like never before, even in June and July I knew this team was special. I wish it didn’t have to end like that, but the future is incredibly bright for this team. Maybe soon they can make it back.
