I love this film. All those Hammer fans over the years who have tirelessly complained about it really missed the point. How exciting would it be to discover there was a Shaw Brothers film with Peter Cushing in?! Oh wait, there’s two of them!

1967, and Hammer tried going full historical epic in "The Viking Queen". It's a little bit Roman, a little bit Welsh and (oddly) a little bit Greek as well. The one thing it isn't is Viking! But is it a Boudicca or a Bouddican't? @househammerpod.bsky.social investigate further.
