Thinking back on last night's #Crew96 home opener... why did they do away with the old match ignitor setup? It was silly, of course, as pre-match activations are, but its replacement is so much worse. The whole pre-show was a step down, I don't get it.

I want to like Rydström. The things I read about him in the off-season had me intrigued, if not excited.
Through three games, though, I'm more frustrated and confused.

So Rydstrom has decided he can’t trust our transition defending so we’re sacrificing the quick play for stability. Less chaos, yes, but also less dynamic and it’s certainly hurting the offense going forward.
Looking at the marking I don’t think he trusts the CBs in general.
