Matterialism There is a fundamental question: Does any of it matter?There are three possible answers. Nothing matters. Some things matter, and some don't. Everything matters. The world where nothing matters is a world of infinite entertainment and dopamine hits. Where we chase novelty and fun, just for the heck of it. It is the hedonistic treadmill on steroids, spiraling into the most ornate emptiness imaginable.

Does any of it matter?

Disrespecting Yourself You disrespect yourself when you do or say something that's not in line with: 1) Your values2) Your feelings Note that your stories are not in that list, because they change all the time. In fact, they may need an update. But your values don't really change that much. If you value love, then not acting from love is disrespecting yourself.
