This was the first #groundhogday I ever did—in 1992—and the premise was simple: The groundhog didn’t see his shadow cuz he was looking the wrong way, and then went back in his hole to prep for spring. It led to a book deal from Wiley.

Find yourself a fellow illustrator/creative or group and talk about your works and build up that confidence.
If you can’t confidently present your art (to a client, to social media, to someone at a party) then the industry will be so much harder for making a living. It’s the ones who are confident and assertive (but not the a-holes) that will get the attention.
