Have given myself some creative freedom today. I worked from my daughter’s hardware set and created the forms, then had fun with the patterns. Calling this one Study of Triangle, Cross, Circle, Square.

Record a day in your life

Today was full of cancelled plans and illness so I decided to do another still life. I’ve always enjoyed making still lives so today’s consist of calpol, thermometers and milk.

As I’m currently spending all my time looking after six month old twins, I’m calling this one Still life avec bottles.

‘Make your work in the dark’

Today’s image came from my daughter at bathtime as we looked at the patterns the soap made on the water. I turned the light off, put the flash on and got this image.

Day Three: 30/30 Reuse, Recycle, Reclaim.

This prompt sent me back to my archive to find older images that never made the cut and didn’t realise any ending. Reclaiming these for no reason other than to play with them was extremely enjoyable.

Taking today’s prompt of ‘Be Over the Top’ literally with multiple layers, the majority of how my work is made. I tried to push it so that the point at which I would usually stop, I continued to see what might happen.
